Newfound Lake
Acclaimed as one of the cleanest large lakes in the world, Newfound is cherished by residents and visitors alike. Unlike many other large lakes in New England, Newfound Lake still has a vast amount of open space. Public access for boating lies at the Southwest end of the lake at Wellington State Park where there is also a beautiful beach for swimming.  Bristol Town Beach is at the foot of Wicom Road and for the adventurous who can climb back up with their beach chairs, it's a nice work-out.
